I hate twins.

How come they should have supernatural powers simply because they were born in a pair? With a standard ability of telepathy, super powers can range from pyrokinetics and super-strength to flight and yet undiscovered abilities. On top of that, it is well known that one of the twins will be evil, straight from birth. Once the evil twin is determined, it is much easier, however, to decide which twin to kill.

In rare cases, both twins are born evil.

It is this time of year that reminds me of the tragic epiphany I discovered all those years ago. My birthday is May 28th and I have just turned twenty one but when I was ten, I received a tome of knowledge from one of my parent’s friends. If my parents knew the world of chaos, fear, and hate that would be born from it’s pages, I’m sure the friend would have been banished from the house. The book of evil was deceptively known as All About Gemini: a Charming Zodiac Profile. Page after page revealed my dark secret:

So began a life of mood swings and self-loathing only to be tempered by a careful balance of companionship and solitude. Like Wesley Snipes, the famous “daywalker”, I belong to two worlds: one of singularity and one of duality. At the same time, I pursue and exterminate evil twins as I find them. Most people label what I do “illegal” or “stupid” but if it wasn’t for me, they wouldn’t be able to say that stuff because twins would rule the world and the first thing they’d do is take away the first amendment and the third amendment and all the odd amendments because twins hate odd numbers.

As of recently, my inner duality has become more dangerous resulting in a need for greater doses of vampire blood. As an attempt to finally settle my “in twin”, I sought to discover what kind of twin I was.
